LES JARDINS DE L’ESPÉRANCE
In a natural area of 8000m2, the Jardins de l’Espérance offer a number of activities linked to the environment and gardening. They have been awarded the Tourisme & Handicap » label (hearing, visual, mental), and aim to create educational gardens, encouraging the integration of disabled or sick children in educational workshops for all.
EXPENATURE
Labellisé « Tourisme et Handicap » pour les 4 handicaps (auditif, mental, moteur, visuel), EXPENATURE encadrement des activités physical activities in the great outdoors (kayaking, canoeing, climbing, spéléology, mountain biking, multisport raids…) and also offersé personalised support for the disabled public.
ATELIER BLEU CPIE CÔTE PROVENÇALE
L’Atelier Bleu – CPIE Côte Provençale has been organising aquatic and land-based activities for over 35 years;s aquatic and terrestrial activities with the aim of showcasing the diversity of coastal landscapes and alerting the public to the fragility of these ecosystems. In particular, it offers:
- The underwater trail at Le Mugel (La Ciotat), accompanied by a certified sea guide, is accessible to people with sensory disabilities.
- The underwater trail at Port d’Alon (St Cyr-sur-Mer), accompanied by a certified sea guide, is accessible to people with sensory disabilities; It is accessible to people with all types of disability, including those with reduced mobility, thanks to the improvements made to allow access to the water.
Some of the nature walks are also accessible to people with sensory or mental disabilities; the guided tour of the Parc du Mugel and the guided tour of the Pêche aux petits mé tiers are accessible to all types of disability. The cost of all these activities is the same as for able-bodied visitors. For groups, please contact them. Atelier Bleu has also created sound walks in partnership with the Parc national des Calanques, for able-bodied and visually-impaired visitors to the Carriere du Loin in La Ciotat and the Fontaine de Voire in Marseille. The walks can be downloaded free of charge from the My Calanques app.
VOIE DOUCE PATRICK BORE
The Voie Douce Patrick Boré allows you to cross the city from the centre to the outer districts and the Bastide Marin. Entirely pedestrianised, it is accessible to people of limited mobility thanks to adapted passage locks. The 5.4 km route has been completely upgraded and made safe, using the route of a former railway line. Please note: the 3rd wheel does not allow passage through chicanes/access barriers.
PROMENADE LITTORALE
Almost 3 kilometres long, the Promenade Littorale links the small port of St Jean to the Port Vieux in the town centre. It has been completely refurbished to enable people with disabilities to get around safely, and runs alongside the beaches, including the Lumi beach, which has been awarded the Tourisme & Handicap label. Parking spaces for the interested public can be found all along this promenade. Restaurants and terraces make for a refreshing stop-off.
