The ‘Destination d’Excellence’ State Label builds on the legacy of Qualité Tourisme™ and combines excellence in hospitality with a commitment to more sustainable tourism. It recognises establishments committed to a structured approach focusing in particular on: the quality of hospitality; customer satisfaction; accessibility; raising awareness of sustainable development.

This national scheme ensures that services are suitable for people with disabilities, based on criteria relating to the accessibility of facilities, services and information.

This initiative enables professionals to better cater for cycle tourists by providing suitable facilities and services: secure parking, practical information, dedicated services, etc.

As the first international environmental label for tourist accommodation and restaurants, Clef Verte supports businesses in reducing their environmental impact: water and energy management; waste reduction and sorting; responsible procurement; raising awareness amongst staff and customers.

This international certification supports tourism businesses wishing to develop a comprehensive approach to sustainable tourism.

This official European Union label recognises organisations committed to reducing their environmental impact whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
