Start the day with a sunrise from the Môle Bérouard.
Then enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the old port.
Then put on your best trainers and head for the Mugel. A twenty-minute walk will take you to the large botanical park and the two small creeks that make this place such a jewel.
A good idea for lunch: have a picnic in the Figuerolles cove! Just a 10-minute walk from Le Mugel, it’s well worth the diversions, believe us.
For the more adventurous, take a stroll towards the Sémaphore du Bec de l’Aigle, a 1-hour walk from Figuerolles.
Then head back to the town centre to visit the Church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption and stroll through the streets of La Ciotat’s old town in search of a little souvenir.
Treat yourself to a gourmet break in one of the town’s most beautiful squares (Sadi Carnot).
In the early evening, head to Plage Lumière to enjoy the last rays of sunshine of the day.
A seaside dinner along the coastline will round off this wonderful day. Return to the town centre to enjoy the night market in the old port (only in summer).
