The city as a space for creativity: urban dance encounters.

From Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August at the Jardin de la Ville: live performance. Saturday 22 August at the Jardin de la Ville: 6.45 pm – ‘The Circle in Creation’ A cultural event promoting contemporary choreography and multidisciplinary art as a means of reflecting on human interaction and our relationship with the body within the urban environment. A choreographer, actresses, dancers and musicians will use a location in the city as a medium for expression and creation, composing a choreographed piece live: ‘CERCLE L’ENSO DU ZEN’. Featuring the artists: Sandra Beaubatier Marine Romano Cassandra Felgueiras David Benzazon Programme: Friday 21 August – City Garden 10.00 am: OPENING CEREMONY of the event, attended by the artists, the press and local councillors 2.30 pm–6 pm: START OF THE CREATION process, with the choreographic piece being created live and in front of an audience Saturday 22 August – Jardin de la Ville 10 am–1 pm and 2.30 pm–5.30 pm: CONTINUATION OF THE CREATION process, with the choreographic piece being created live and in front of an audience 6.45 pm: ‘THE CIRCLE IN CREATION’. Creative explorations. Sunday 23 August – City Gardens 10 am–1 pm: FINAL STAGES OF THE CREATION, still live and in public 6 pm: PRESENTATION OF THE CREATION CLOSING CEREMONY
