Description
The many strollers in the old port of La Ciotat will have the privilege of admiring this nativity scene, which has the unusual feature of being visible from the water.
This is a traditional Christmas nativity scene depicting the Nativity, recreated using life-size santons on a boat moored in the old harbour of La Ciotat.
The nativity scene on the water is illuminated in the evening.
The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday 12 December at 6.00 pm, featuring a performance of Provençal folk dances presented by the La Ciotat-based association l’Escolo de la Ribo.
In partnership with the association Les Calfats de l’Escalet, which promotes the preservation of La Ciotat’s maritime heritage throughout the year.
