La Ciotat celebrates Korea! Films, shows, concerts, K-pop, martial arts, workshops, cuisine, crafts, exhibitions and meet-ups will form the backbone of this unique Franco-Korean festival.

La Ciotat is hosting the first edition of the Provence Franco-Korean festival, Annyeong Corée, a new event dedicated to discovering Korean culture. Over the course of a whole weekend, the public is invited to explore the richness and diversity of Korea through a programme combining traditions, contemporary culture, the arts, music, cinema and gastronomy. Over the course of the two days, there will be a range of experiences to enjoy: film screenings, exhibitions, talks, shows, concerts and K-pop-themed events. Martial arts enthusiasts will also be able to watch demonstrations, whilst workshops will offer an introduction to the Korean language. The festival will also provide an opportunity to meet various guests during discussion sessions and book-signing events. On the culinary and craft front, food trucks, gastronomic offerings and stalls dedicated to traditional crafts will round off this immersion in Korean culture. Designed as a friendly event open to all, Annyeong Corée offers numerous ways to discover the country, whether you’re already passionate about Korean culture or simply curious to find out more. Come along to La Ciotat for this new Franco-Korean festival, where tradition meets contemporary culture!
