Description
Ici l'Atelier is made up of two ceramists: Camille Drozdz, a product designer, and Anthony Bureau, a visual artist, in a workshop where they enhance the value of craftsmanship by revisiting traditional techniques such as moulding, turning and stamping.
Ici l'Atelier is the creative hub of Camille Drozdz, a product designer and ceramicist, and Anthony Bureau, a ceramic artist. Situated in the beautiful former Boucherie Martin – a venue steeped in history, whose large display windows offer a glimpse into the various stages of the ceramic-making process. If you’re curious, do pop in to discover their creative world and have a chat about their craft.
Together, Camille and Anthony work in their design studio at the heart of their production workshop, offering a collection of ceramic pieces that they design and craft on site. You can purchase any pieces you like in the workshop’s shop area.
They call it a studio because they also design and produce ranges of pieces for other businesses, such as interior design brands, restaurants and so on. They also create unique, bespoke decorative pieces of exceptional quality for establishments, interior design projects and private clients. These creations can be viewed directly through their clients, who exhibit or sell them on their behalf as part of a collaborative partnership.
Ici l'Atelier also welcomes you to come and create your own ceramic pieces in a professional workshop. Immerse yourself in their creative world and workspace, get your hands dirty with clay, and design your own pieces.
A programme of workshops is available all year round, subject to booking, where you can sign up to learn the basics of working with clay and create a piece that reflects your personality with your own hands.
