Description
Cyril Benhamou has been a key figure in the arts and a major cultural player for over a decade.
Well-known on the national scene, his work is regularly praised by critics.
A man of the stage, with Grabuge he presents a musical evening centred on sharing, open to the world, at the crossroads of several musical styles (jazz, world music, house, hip hop, funk…).
The secret to this explosive mix? A tight-knit and inventive rhythm section (keyboards, bass, drums) that improvises live, responding to the energy of the moment. And it’s not uncommon for him to welcome surprise guests on stage…
With residencies all over Marseille (Makeda, Artplex, La Meson…), where he has been able to refine his concept year after year, Cyril has truly made Grabuge his trademark. A festive, eclectic and universal show – just like his own music…
