As part of its Jazz Sur La Baie concert series in La Ciotat, the Artessimo association is hosting a special event featuring an evening of Brazilian jazz.

This special evening will be divided into three parts: 7.00 pm: Carioca De Coeur Sextet (first part) 8.00 pm: Interval 8.30 pm: Carioca De Coeur Sextet (second part) 9.30 pm: Interval 9.45 pm: Saravah – screening of the film directed by the famous composer Pierre Barouh 10.50pm: End Carioca De Coeur 6Tet: the vibes of Brazilian rhythms The six artists of the Carioca de Cœur group will generously and joyfully share with us the essence of Brazilian music – warm, subtle and so vibrant. This ensemble will take us on a musical journey to Brazil, one that is smooth, rich in harmonies and joyfully rhythmic. The great classics, as well as rarer musical gems, will delight fans of this eternally vibrant music. The greatest iconic figures of that era and of Brazilian popular music will be featured: Antônio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, João Gilberto, Toquinho, Rosa Passos, João Bosco, Marcos Valle and many others. A few other little surprises may well find their way into the repertoire! Saravah! A word to the dancers... singer Eliane Di Natali will sweep us away to the rhythms of bossa nova and samba with her rich, smooth and expressive voice, beautifully accompanied by the finely crafted chords of guitarist Théo Yepez, the counterpoint flute of Swann Bonnet, the rhythmic piano of Christophe Mullié and the supple yet vibrant bass and drum section of Bruno Césaroni and Jean-Pierre Malet.
