The town of La Ciotat invites you to attend four concerts featuring a programme that ranges from Brazilian rhythms to American soul, and from French chanson to international pop classics.
On the programme:
Friday 31 July at 9.30 pm — Tudo Joia Brasil “A Banda”
Accompanied by the dancers of Cheiro do Brasil, the band invites the audience on a festive journey into the heart of Brazil’s rhythms and colours. Samba, bossa nova, Carioca energy — a festival opener that promises to get Port-Vieux moving.
Saturday 1 August at 9.00 pm — Merci Bernard
French and international pop • Pop • Rock • Funk
Three musicians from La Ciotat come together to perform a lively set blending French chanson, pop, rock and funk from the 1960s to the present day. An intimate, warm and unpretentious concert by local artists.
Saturday 1 August at 10.30 pm — Ready for Reddding
Soul • Rhythm and Blues
A tribute to the greatest artists of soul and rhythm and blues, in the tradition of the great American stages. A late-night set promising warmth and groove to round off the night in style.
Sunday 2 August at 9.30 pm — Pop!
French and international pop
Five musicians performing a pop repertoire given a fresh twist with energy and good humour. A festive and accessible finale, perfect for a last evening in August overlooking the sea.
