Scenes from yesteryear, Trades from yesteryear Exhibition

Old trades such as the bugadières at the washhouse, their fabrics and lace, the fishmongers and fishermen at La Ciotat, and the farmers with their field jobs will be in the spotlight.
The Escolo de la Ribo will be exhibiting mannequins depicting scenes from daily life in days gone by, such as work in the fields, the sea, the family, washing clothes, etc.
The Escolo de la Ribo, with all these scenes representing these old trades, has a real desire to concentrate and perpetuate a desire and a vision of times gone by. The exhibition promises to be rich in period costumes and accessories.
The aim of the Escolo de la Ribo is to maintain and pass on Provençal traditions and culture to the young and to all lovers of Provence.
The Escolo de la Ribo will be opening the exhibition with Provençal dances and songs.
