Since 2010, Alain Maupuy has been based in the Languedoc region, near Montpellier, and has devoted himself entirely to painting.
His technique is oil painting on canvas and paper.
His style oscillates between suggestive figurative art and emotional abstraction, the colours are strong and harmonious, and the interplay of nuances and shapes captures our imagination. Alain Maupuy's constant quest for beauty and aesthetics is captivating.
