  • Navig’arts celebrates its 4th edition in La Ciotat! On Saturday 4 October, the public is invited to explore the town in a different way: a festive and creative journey punctuated by shows, performances and open-air exhibitions.

  • This new edition will take place in the historic heart of the city: from the old port – from Place de l'Escalet to the Ciotaden Museum – via Rue Bouronne, Passage Jean d'Huart and the Théâtre de la Chaudronnerie.

Following the success of 2024, the event will continue with its central theme: an artistic journey through the ages. The public will be invited to travel from prehistory to the great civilisations (Vikings, Greeks, etc.), through the 19th century and its ‘red carpet’ theme in...
This new edition will take place in the historic heart of the city: from the old port – from Place de l'Escalet to the Ciotaden Museum – via Rue Bouronne, Passage Jean d'Huart and the Théâtre de la Chaudronnerie.

Following the success of 2024, the event will continue with its central theme: an artistic journey through the ages. The public will be invited to travel from prehistory to the great civilisations (Vikings, Greeks, etc.), through the 19th century and its ‘red carpet’ theme in tribute to 130 years of cinema, to the energy of the disco years and a projection into the future.

Nearly forty local associations and artists will bring the streets to life with concerts, shows and performances. Visitors will be able to try their hand at various activities: intaglio printing, Latin calligraphy, Viking crafts (wood, leather), live painting, and more. The entire city will be transformed into a living stage where each artistic discipline will bring an era back to life.

In the evening, there will be a highlight: the Off company will present Color Wheels, a participatory creation in which huge coloured wheels will parade along the old port, from the harbour master's esplanade to the Ciotaden museum. The public will be invited to join the parade to form a huge moving kaleidoscope, set to the beat of an on-board DJ's electro mixes. A sensory and festive journey that will bring this great open-air celebration of the arts to a close.
