Azul y Verde presents Neda Cainero's original repertoire of compositions. The influence of Italian and Latin American chansonniers and the folklore of various countries can be heard in her work. Several metres are mixed together, as are the languages sung. The lyrics in Italian, Spanish and English recount experiences and journeys, critiques and hopes for society, life and dreams. The harmonies and melodies reflect her somewhat nomadic and wandering nature as she searches for her place in a world that sometimes despairs her, but always amazes her.
