Groupement de Pêche et d'Etudes Sous-Marines - GPES

The GPES, the oldest scuba diving club in France, does everything possible to make your dives and training sessions enjoyable. Take advantage of its incredible capacity to welcome divers all year round, in summer and winter: a room to welcome divers, changing rooms with hot showers and sanitary facilities, a room to store your equipment (you can leave your belongings when you do successive dives over several days and during lunch breaks), 2 large rinsing tanks (water is renewed on each dive), outdoor drying racks and 2 fully equipped training rooms (video projector, blackboard, computer, etc).

The club has two boats, for a total capacity of 38 divers. The bay of La Ciotat, of which the Ile Verte is the queen, provides shelter from the wind most of the time, and therefore allows for the vast majority of outings. Don't forget to taste the traditional hot tea when you get back on the boat!

The club can accommodate up to 38 divers simultaneously. The following equipment, recently renewed and available in all sizes for children and adults, is at their disposal: about sixty full wetsuits or shortys, about thirty stabilising jackets, about forty pairs of fins, diving computers, about twenty full regulators (air), about ten full regulators (nitrox), about forty blocks (air), about ten nitox blocks and half a dozen pony blocks, masks.
