Groumpf & MKG-Marge Kagòla concert

This time Groumpf is teaming up with artist MKG-Marge Kagòla for a colourful evening of music, collage and love!
To take you into their crazy world, La Groumpferie is bringing along a Fringuerie, where everyone will be able to borrow the most beautiful fluorescent leggings, mega-spangled clothes and an avalanche of leopard, zebra, short-haired and long-haired outfits (the craziest collection in the world times infinity times a thousand). MKG will be showcasing her eccentric and colourful collages, bright and quirky, to draw you into this whirlwind of irresistible energy!

Groumpf seems unclassifiable, as these four musicians from Lyon draw on all their influences to create a music that's uniquely theirs, but where you'll find the eclectic pop of Gorillaz, the quirkiness of Philippe Katerine, the energy of La Mano Negra and the danceable techno of the Chemical Brothers.
Whatever... everyone will recognise their own!
On stage the message is very clear, the energy very rock and the outcome inevitable. Everyone comes together to let go and spread as much love, fun and sexiness as possible, and you end up jumping around with cramps in your zygomatic muscles and the curious feeling that you know everyone.

An artisan and lover of art in all its forms, MKG loves collecting all kinds of paper and cutting out images and text to rearrange them in a different context. Embellished with paint, ribbons or other materials, her creations are always graphic, often colourful, with a distinctive style. Assemblages inspired by Dada, pop art or both. MKG cuts the world up into pieces, turning it into visual harmony. A real creative outlet.
