A concert brimming with energy and a sense of togetherness, blending traditional and more contemporary gospel songs to take the audience on a lively and dynamic musical journey.
The Freedom Chœur Gospel choir was founded in 2023 in Gignac-La-Nerthe by a group of passionate gospel singers.
Choir director Laurence Bellet has expanded the original gospel repertoire and enriched it with new songs.
Every year, the choir performs in concert in Gignac-La-Nerthe and the surrounding towns: Martigues, Istres, Sausset-les-Pins, Marignane, Ensuès-la-Redonne, Gardanne… as well as two concerts in Apt in 2025.
On the programme for this evening: Hush, Total Praise, Bring Me Little Water Silvy, Rock My Soul, Amazing Grace, Happy Day, Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho, As I Went Down to the River to Pray, I Will Follow Him, You Raise Me Up, Amen, This Little Light of Mine, Kumbayah... and a few surprises!
