Karidja Zerguit
From embroidery to painting, an original creation!
The art of embroidery is practised mainly with a Lunéville needle and crochet hook. This work requires great dexterity. The specific technique of attaching materials with the simple feel of the hands, combined with the precision of each gesture, allows precious and semi-precious materials to be brought to light. Karidja has even chosen to use recycled materials to modernise her approach!

The specific technique of attaching materials with the simple feel of the hands, combined with the precision of each gesture, allows precious and semi-precious materials to be brought to light. Karidja has even chosen to use recycled materials to modernise her approach!
Trained as an embroiderer, she has worked for haute couture for many years.
An expert in her field, her love of passing on her skills has led her to offer them to associations, where she runs embroidery classes and workshops. For several years now, she has been exhibiting her work throughout France.
Samira Ouba
Painter and poet
A school teacher, Samira is a self-taught artist.
Through her courses and workshops, she has allowed her creativity to emerge, creating with recycled and often basic materials. Passionate about the plastic arts and poetry, she recovers various objects that she transforms into a medium of expression. Her eco-responsible vision was the starting point for her creations. She diverts things and their composition, such as paper and cardboard, to create, sculpt and give new life to these elements in a different way. She transforms and appropriates waste materials, magnifying them in the most divine way according to her point of view and her inspiration. The works she transforms are presented like a trophy: the quintessence of a turnaround towards a luminous creation imbued with meaning. Her art is the language she has chosen to express her love of the beautiful and the divine in the spirit of an alchemist. For this emerging artist, sharing is a fundamental part of her DNA. Her nature is emancipated through abstract paintings and poetic texts that she composes. Her paintings and writings resonate like inner voices echoing with the outside world. Her works express themselves freely and reveal a transcription of her identity, her reality and her truth.
