-
This exhibition of travel journals, created during a two-week stay in Ireland, allows you to discover the Emerald Isle through the eyes and emotions of a traveller who is passionate about sketching.
-
For two weeks, Didier Locicero travelled the roads of Ireland, sketchbook in hand, to capture landscapes, encounters and precious moments. The exhibition A (drawn) journey in Ireland is not just a graphic account of a trip: it is an invitation to slow down, observe, soak up the present moment and, in turn, recount your own travels in a different way.

About the artist...
Didier Locicero is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts and has been painting and drawing for over fifty years. His work as a visual artist draws inspiration from both his travels and Mediterranean culture, offering an original vision of these worlds. His works, sprinkled with words, signs and symbols – sometimes decipherable, sometimes drawn from a personal repertoire – create a poetic space conducive to introspection and inner escape for the viewer.
A proponent of drawing from life, Didier Locicero has produced numerous travel journals and jazz notebooks, demonstrating his commitment to direct observation and artistic exploration of the world around him.
