    The theme of the 2025 European Archaeology Days is the Bronze Age.

  • In La Ciotat, the Musée Ciotaden invites you to take a look at prehistory on Friday 13 June and Saturday 14 June from 2pm to 6pm, with a free tour of the collections accompanied by archaeologists.
    The programme includes an exhibition of prehistoric and ancient collections, as well as INRAP panels on preventive archaeology.

    On Saturday 14 June from 9.30am to 12pm, you can take a free guided tour of the Terrevaine cave, home to a Bronze Age collective burial site. An agent from the Calanques National Park and an archaeologist from INRAP will accompany participants. Numbers are limited to 20, with prior registration at the Musée Ciotaden. You will need to be in good physical condition. Bring high-top walking shoes, trousers and a drink.
