The association Les Ami(e)s De Romy, which raises awareness of all forms of violence against children, has published an illustrated awareness-raising book entitled Chut! C'est un Secret... in audio, Braille, sign language, FALC (pictograms) and audio description.

This is the first book to raise awareness of sexual violence and incest, with all the necessary tools for disabled people in particular. It's a book for communicating and sharing with parents, educators, doctors, psychologists, lawyers, teachers, carers, media libraries, crèches, police officers and gendarmes for questioning, etc.

Its national launch is being organised on 28 June in La Ciotat, in partnership with the La Ciotat town hall and all its partners, with a festive day including a rock concert for children with the group Bab et Les Chats (they wrote a song to raise awareness of intimate parts and incest for the association, which has already been used for two years with children).

There will also be creative workshops, sewing, make-up, glass painting, tattoos, a photo studio and an exhibition.

The event will be attended by Marie Rabatel, spokesperson on violence against people with disabilities, notably at the UN, and Claude Ardid, journalist, reporter and committed author (who wrote the preface to the book). They are the two patrons of this incredible project, which has led to many partnerships working on it.
