Alex Z plays with words exhibition
Words have meaning, but they also have colour!
They're exhibited in series, in bursts, and sometimes accompanied by classic faces from the art world who take the viewer as witness. Alex Z likes to create a discrepancy between the classical vision and the codes of urban art, mixing in words and phrases to provoke a different reaction. The words accompany and fuel the idea, the theme and the emotion.
Alex Z was born and grew up in Toulon. Writing was an essential part of his daily life, and tagging very quickly became a trademark and a means of expression for him. After studying philosophy and art history and working as a strategic manager in a major company for several years, he decided to make a living from his art. Today he thrives on his artistic approach, which combines personal works, collaborations and sharing.
