Two artists, two sensibilities, the same passion for colour and light, between instinctive energy and Mediterranean softness.

Nadia Paret Garcia
A passionate artist, she discovered painting by chance over ten years ago. Now based in La Ciotat, a place close to her heart, she puts all her energy into her creations. For her, painting is a real escape, a bubble of serenity where she finds relaxation, freedom and self-confidence.
Her works are born of an instinctive impulse and tackle a variety of themes. They are imbued with the joy she feels when she sees her paintings come to life under the impetus of her pictorial gestures. Each brushstroke is a dance, a celebration of the present moment as the canvas comes alive beneath her hands.
Through her creations, she expresses an optimism and vitality that touches those who contemplate them. She has had the privilege of exhibiting her work in a number of iconic venues, and thanks to these exhibitions, her paintings can now be found in New Zealand, California, Northern Ireland and several regions of France.
Maryvonne Gras
She was born and grew up in the Paris region, surrounded by a family with a passion for the arts, her preference being drawing and painting. Alongside her studies, she took evening classes at the Ecole des Arts Appliqués in Paris. She worked in a radiology company, then in a pharmaceutical laboratory as an interface between product managers, graphic artists and designers.
When she retired, she joined the Jeannon studio in Bois-Colombes, and since 2011 has lived in La Ciotat, where she has been taking painting courses until 2022 at the Maison Ritt. Her passion for painting is inspired by light, the sea, vegetation and the mineral world, with a notable influence from the colours of the south. She has exhibited her work in various venues, including the Bois-Colombes town hall, the Gennevilliers cultural centre, the Rotonde restaurant in Courbevoie, the Galerie du Port in La Ciotat, and the gallery in Saint-Cyr-sur-mer.
