The joy of playing together, a shared understanding of music and a desire to explore the quartet's vast and rich repertoire. In 1996, they put this desire into practice by forming the Quatuor du Parvis.

Since then, they have toured not only our region, but the whole of France to the delight of music lovers.
From time to time, depending on the repertoire, the group becomes a trio, or expands to form a quintet or a septet, inviting wind instruments or a piano.
