Briata, painter from here and elsewhere exhibition

More than a tribute, this exhibition is an invitation to travel through the artist's work and the many landscapes and regions he has represented. Japan, the Marquesas Islands, New York, but also Provence, so dear to his heart, can all be discovered during this eventful exhibition at the chapelle des pénitents bleus, as well as at the Simone Veil media library, which will be showing some of his original lithographs and paintings.

This is a very fine exhibition by this painter of colour, who shares his vision of the world with us.

Blotches of light, geometric lines, rhythmic compositions, undulating forms. In his work, everything becomes a symphony. The artist painted tirelessly, as he did throughout his life, forging a unique style and gesture.

This exhibition invites visitors to discover or rediscover the artist, to escape into another world, into the painter's universe, into the beauty of hidden places sublimated by intense colours and intimate details.
