They are a legacy that connects us to the world.
These are the foundations on which the La Ciotat 2025 book and arts fair is based.
It is a social hub, a place for everyone to exchange and share ideas in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The 4th edition of the 2025 fair welcomes four honorary members this year: Orianne Aymard, Gilles Del Pappas, Serge Di Meo and Mireille Sanchez.

Orianne Aymard, author, lecturer and Himalayan mountaineer, is one of the few French women to have climbed Everest (8,848 m) and Lhotse (8,516 m). She wrote her biography Au cœur de l'Everest – La quête d'une femme au sommet (At the Heart of Everest – A Woman's Quest for the Summit). Beyond the sporting achievement, it is a spiritual journey in which resilience and pushing oneself beyond one's limits are the keys to her incredible journey.
Gilles Del Pappas, author of detective novels set in Marseille, photographer, director and avid traveller, has received numerous awards, including the 2002 Grand Prix Littéraire de Provence for his entire body of work and the 2007 Prix du Polar Lycéen d'Aubusson for Le baiser du congre.
Serge Di Meo has been a watercolourist since 1983. Co-founder of the French Watercolour Society, co-founder of the Provençal Watercolourists Society and founder of the Aquarella festival, he does not seek to evoke emotions in his paintings, preferring to aim for a refined, airy style.
Mireille Sanchez is a food journalist and author. Travelling the world, she introduces us to and helps us savour, among other things, her book La cuisine méditerranéenne (Mediterranean cuisine), a veritable encyclopaedia of 1,300 recipes, in which the culinary traditions of the south are passed down by women. For Mireille Sanchez, the table creates social bonds and food warms our hearts.
