The shipyards

Formerly an industrial site specializing in the manufacture of oil tankers, the shipyards of La Ciotat, renamed La Ciotat Shipyards, have been converted into a nautical pole of international dimension whose activity is the maintenance, upkeep and repair of large yachts. Today, La Ciotat Shipyards, is the leading site for refit and repair of Super Yachts.

Some figures

More than 150 yachts, some of which exceed 200 metres in length, are welcomed each year on the site thanks to the presence of numerous port infrastructures. Their number and size are constantly evolving.
La Ciotat Shipyards also has the management of the Old Port whose capacity amounts to 418 berths in the sea and 216 places on land.

Did you know?

In 2022, the La Ciotat shipyards inaugurated a new XXL boat elevator – Atlas – with a lifting capacity of up to 4300 tons. A further step in the development of the site, specialized in the repair and maintenance of luxury yachts.

Good to know

To date, 1500 employees work in more than 50 companies located on the site. Companies with an international dimension such as Monaco Marine, MB92, Classic Works, Exail and Nautech are often looking for new profiles!
