The world’s oldest movie theater opens its doors to you.
The association Les Lumières de l’Eden offers tourist tours of the Eden-Théâtre Cinema. In the program: Visit of the room, projection of films on the history of the Eden, the Lumière family and the birth of cinema in La Ciotat.

A heritage tour lasting a total of 3 hours is usually organized once a month. It consists of two parts:
– A slide show on the history of shipbuilding in La Ciotat and the activities of the current site followed by a projection of a 10-minute film on ship launches in La Ciotat.
– A bus tour of the naval site with four strategic stops.

Guided tours are scheduled upon request for groups of 10 to 30 people. The guided tour can be à la carte: museum in its entirety or a theme alone, museum + historic center, historic center alone…
