The Simone Veil municipal media library is a partner of Les Nuits de la Lecture (Nights of Reading), organised by the National Book Centre and the Ministry of Culture.
On the occasion of the 10th edition of Les Nuits de la Lecture, Yann Le Corre, comedian and actor, will showcase texts from Irish literature. The Simone Veil municipal media library will welcome you with a hot drink, and you will then be able to discuss, exchange ideas and share your thoughts on this reading.
Yann Le Corre is an actor with a degree in performing arts from the University of Provence. In Dijon, he completed his practical training at the National Theatre with Robert Cantarella, at the Grenier de Bourgogne with Jean Maisonnave, at the Théâtre des Ateliers with Alain Simon, and at the Théâtre National de la Criée in Marseille with Célie Pauthe. In the audiovisual field, he has participated in workshops with Eric Guirado, Dorothée Sebbagh, Emmanuel Mouret, and Thierry de Peretti, among others.
From 2007 to 2013, he performed in street theatre for the Par les Villages festival and in Des PaPis dans la tête, directed by Danielle Bré. He acts in and/or directs contemporary theatre and children's theatre productions, notably with the Aix-based companies La Variante and L'Auguste Théâtre.
He also created the solo performances Caracalla, a pastiche on tragedy, and Quand je serai grand je veux être... Van Gogh, on the vocation of an artist.
As an actor, he has appeared in the short film Livraison by Steeve Calvo, commercials, the series Scènes de ménages and the feature films Un balcon sur la mer by Nicole Garcia and Alibi.com by Philippe Lacheau.
