Exposition Rachel Valy

Rachel Valy exhibition

Cultural, Exhibition, Painting in La Ciotat
  • Self-taught, Rachel Valy has been painting for more than 20 years, and has continued to learn through her encounters with different painters.

  • The journey continues, ad infinitum. The ephemeral, the light, the airy, the gentle, the dreamlike and the poetic are her sources of inspiration. Painting is a way for her to escape, to be nourished by colour, shapes and spaces. She uses acrylic paint, sand, pastels and inks. It's a journey to the heart of her constantly evolving creative process, experimenting with colour and materials through intuitive painting.

The journey continues, ad infinitum.

Rachel Valy allows herself to paint freely. What interests her is the creative process, the experimentation that brings her joy. Listening to her sensations as she comes into contact with the material, shapes, colours and atmosphere emerge from the jumble. She immerses herself in it, seizes it, brings back to calm what needs to be calmed, and brings to life this universe that resonates within her.

Rachel Valy also offers workshops to help those who wish to reconnect with their creativity through painting, in the form of workshops and the creation of personalised notebooks, and will soon be offering Vedict Art courses.
You don't need to know how to draw or paint, just remember the spontaneity of your childhood. The creative force lies in reconnecting with that.
