2nd Flavours of the World Fair

The 2nd edition of the Saveurs du Monde trade fair will be organised in aid of the L'Air des Rêves association and Lions Club charity work.

The aim of the event is to introduce the public in La Ciotat and the surrounding area to the flavours, scents, art, decoration, spirits and culinary specialities of the world.

More than 40 exhibitors and restaurateurs, selected for the quality of the products on display, will be taking visitors on a journey to 27 destinations around the world, including France, Corsica, Italy, Armenia, Portugal, Tunisia, Senegal, Tibet, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Morocco, India, Japan and Cambodia.

The event will be held at the Paul Eluard complex in La Ciotat, which has 2 halls: the Salle Paul Eluard, where there will be stalls selling crafts and flavours from around the world, and the Salle Baugnies-de-Saint-Marceaux, where restaurateurs will be serving food from around the world.

Two evening events will be held on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 October.

Musical entertainment, dances, workshops and parades will be organised over the three days.

There will be a raffle with lots of prizes and 2 draws on Saturday and Sunday.

The Village Santé Lions will be set up in front of the entrance to the Salle Paul Eluard on Saturday 21 October. Visitors will be able to take advantage of free screening for eye diseases, diabetes detection and a first aid demonstration. Health professionals will be delighted to welcome visitors throughout the day.
